My Favourite Blue Jays Reads in 2018
In theory, writing about a successful Toronto Blue Jays team should be an easy exercise. In 2015 and 2016, people couldn’t churn out enough Blue Jays content to the ravenous masses. Fans wanted to read anything and everything about that team.
Which is why I can appreciate anyone who has to cover a less-than-stellar baseball team like the 2018 Blue Jays. Finding compelling storylines about a 73-win team is a much more arduous task than looking for interesting angles about a 108-win club.
The Blue Jays beat is one of the best around Major League Baseball and that doesn’t just include the traditional media, bloggers have all angles covered on this team, too. If you’re like me, you probably read hundreds of Blue Jays articles in 2018. Here are some of my favourites.
