Let’s be honest; almost no one is in the best shape of their lives during the holiday break. By now, you’ve consumed more shrimp, shortbread cookies and Quality Street Chocolates than you’d care to admit. Fitness takes a backseat this week for sweet and savoury treats.
Although it’s high season for gluttony, it’s comforting to know that athletes still treat their bodies like palaces during the Christmas break. Consider Vladimir Guerrero Jr. one of the select few who is hard at work taking care of his fitness in late December.
This video was making the rounds, but it’s featuring young Vlad going through a combine of sorts, performing herculean tasks like the tractor tire flip, a Triple H-esque use of a sledgehammer on said tire and bunch of other various exercises.
Remember, this is the same player who’s projected to have the 15th highest position player WAR total in 2019 … as a rookie. But, just like everyone else, Vlad Jr. appreciates a fine potato chip.
It's comforting to know Vlad Jr. looks at a bag of chips the exact same way I do. pic.twitter.com/wz8UO3Yuvi

The Blue Jays confirmed Guerrero Jr. as one of the many player, prospect and alumni attendees for Winter Fest, January 19th and 20th at Rogers Centre.
