Josh Donaldson Takes UFC 206 By Storm

It’s easy to forget that professional athletes are fans, themselves. Outside of their own sport, athletes have their own favourite teams, players, fighters and more. That even includes the Bringer of Rain himself: Josh Donaldson.

Among JD’s favourite off-field sports, there’s golf, video games, and of course, UFC. Donaldson himself was in Toronto to take in the festivities surrounding 2UFC 206 at the Air Canada Centre, and it looks like he took the PPV by storm.

Donaldson begun the day by training with Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and getting in a little sparring.

Then JD had a great interview with Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting. They talked a bit about baseball and how it relates to MMA, the Bautista/Encarnacion contract talks, and Donaldson’s spat in the dugout earlier in they year with John Gibbons.

Just like a Blue Jays fan, Josh Donaldson was screaming from the stands.

Bout that action! #ufc206

Josh Donaldson even stopped for a photo op with the UFC President, Dana White.
