Was Joe Biagini in the Tonight Show Audience?

The offseason many only be in its infancy, but this is right about the time of year where Blue Jays fans start to go through withdrawal. Some folks cope with a steady dose of MLB Network, others simply count down the days of Spring Training.

Luckily, fans get to occasionally catch the odd glimpse of Blue Jays players on their TV’s off the field. And sometimes it’s in the most unexpected places.

Hat tip to Alexandra (@alsirard) whose eagle eye happened to notice somebody who looks an awful lot like Joe Biagini in the Tonight Show audience last Wednesday. Keep a very close eye on the right side of the staircase as Jimmy Fallon high-fives the audience.

Could that really be Joe Biagini with the sarcastic high five and hanging-there-awkwardly-seconds-later reaction? Well, who better to know than Joe Biagini’s teammate, Josh Donaldson?

The Tonight Show is probably one of the last late night talk shows I would’ve expected to see Joe Biagini … he seems to be more of a Craig Kilborn kind of guy.
