MLB’s annual Winter Meetings is when the bulk of teams do their heavy lifting.

Of all the players to sign to a two-year contract extension on the Blue Jays roster, Justin Smoak would be one of the unlikeliest.

It didn’t take very long for the Blue Jays to make their first waiver claim of the offseason, did it?

It’s a plan so crazy enough that it just might work … the Blue Jays should sign Aubrey Huff to be a platoon partner for Adam Lind.

It’s incredible to think it’s been nearly three weeks since the Blue Jays sent Adam Lind down to Triple A Las Vegas.
