Just like that, the John Gibbons era in Toronto is nearly over. The Blue Jays finally confirmed what everyone has known for months; that Gibby won’t continue beyond this year as the team’s manager.
Over the years, he’s been a GIF goldmine and was the inspiration behind the Twitter account @GibbyGIFS. He’s kept me busy the last few years chronicling his varied and often animated reactions on the field. The man is a walking GIF machine.
