It was bound to happen eventually; Pat Venditte finally made his Blue Jays debut out the bullpen, and John Gibbons called upon the services of their ambidextrous reliever in quite a unique fashion.
Do you think that Gibby has maybe been thinking long and hard about how he was going to signal for Venditte out of the bullpen?
Gibbons certainly didn’t disappoint. One could argue he may be channeling his inner Richard Nixon with this move. I wonder if he actually may have just ordered four beers from the vendor.
