These Blue Jays Prospects Workout Videos Will Warm Your Heart
There is nothing going on in Blue Jays Land right now. Absolutely nothing. Judging by how quiet things have been, you’d think it was mid-November – not six weeks from pitchers and catchers reporting to Spring Training.
To be fair, nothing is happening across Major League Baseball as a whole, but the Blue Jays have been especially quiet this offseason. Aside from rehashing the same Josh Donaldson conversation again, let’s turn the page and look to the future.
Right now, many parts of Canada and the United States are immersed in a deep freeze. But nothing will warm your heart more than watching prospects get prepared for the 2018 season.

It won’t be long before the players on the Major League roster start posting their pre-Spring Training workout videos, but it looks like some of the Blue Jays prospects already have a head start.
Ah yes, sprints! Probably everyone’s least favourite workout. But young Guerrero Jr. seems to fly through them with ease. Let’s move onto a video featuring the Blue Jays fifth overall prospect according to Baseball America: Lourdes Gurriel.

One of the neat little things here: Gurriel uses a simple stick as an outline for the batter’s box for this swing exercise.
And a bonus video: here’s Anthony Alford – the Blue Jays number three prospect – talking about being surrounded by Major League hitters.
After making his MLB debut & dominating Winter League, @ajalfor1 is ready for a strong 2018!

Until something of consequence happens with the Blue Jays, I’m guessing it’ll be nothing but prospect workout videos and Blue Jays players watching or playing hockey.
