A Game in GIFS: Blue Jays 9, Twins 7
Ordinarily, nine runs would be more than enough to enjoy a fairly comfortable lead. But the Blue Jays tend to have a habit to make these high-scoring games much more more nervous than necessary.
Nonetheless, the Blue Jays’ bats came out to play and helped pull off the win thanks in part to three big home runs from Josh Donaldson, Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion. There were also a few other fun moments sprinkled throughout, captured in a few GIFS below.
It’s at this very moment Jose Bautista realizes he’s just killed a baseball. He sends his condolences to the family.

After the grand slam by Jose Bautista, Ben Revere looks like he’s still in shock that he’s a part of this Blue Jays lineup. Somebody pinch him.

Speaking of Mr. Revere, he was pretty stoked to pick up his very first hit in a Blue Jays uniform. He also took part in the celebratory “stir the pot” thing.

There’s no question that Russell Martin is one of the most athletic players on the Blue Jays roster. Here he is putting that athleticism on display, which may also be a breakdancing move of some sort.

Bonus Vine! Edwin Encarnacion couldn’t believe how far he hit his home run, either. No translation needed in this instance.
