GIFS: Marcus Stroman is Pumped to Be Back in Toronto
It may have been mid-September on the calendar, but for Marcus Stroman, last night was his Home Opener.
Throwing to an energetic sold-out crowd, Marcus Stroman was not only electric on the mound, but also in his demeanor. And it didn’t seem to affect him adversely at all … if anything, it charged Stroman up to pitch even better at the Rogers Centre in his home debut.
Watch him wait patiently as his teammates turn a crucial double play behind him.

The movement on Marcus Stroman’s pitches was incredible, as evidenced by this ball thrown to Jackie Bradley Jr. Poor guy didn’t even stand a chance against it.

And lastly, I think this might be my favourite Marcus Stroman GIF so far. The range of emotions he displays here is almost worthy of an Oscar nomination. First there’s anxious, exhilarated, almost a touch of anger, followed by an extreme sense of cool.

My favourite part of the Boston series this weekend was Stroman sitting near the entrance to the dugout, sharing popcorn out of his hat with Price, Tulo, and a couple other guys. Wish I could find a GIF of that one, they showed it a few times on TV!
