All the Jason Grilli Fist Pump GIFS
There’s no other way to put it; Jason Grilli has been a Godsend for the Blue Jays ever since his arrival on May 31st.
Grilli helped stabilize a shaky Blue Jays’ bullpen and he’s pitched like a completely rejuvenated man in a Blue Jays uniform. Considering Grilli’s contributions thus far, it’s difficult to imagine where the Blue Jays would be without him this season.
One of the best things about watching Jason Grilli during his short time in Toronto is the raw emotion he plays with. When he comes up with a strikeout, it’s like he just recorded the final out of the World Series.

What does Jason Grille write on the mound before pitching?
“I’m a showboating idiot”
Jason Grilli scribbles in the dirt near the mound before he steps onto it the initials T.M. and C.G. First, “T.M.” for his friend, Tim Metzger, who passed away, and “C.G.” for his grandmother, Catherine Giampretro, who “means a lot to me,” says Grilli. The other writing is the sign of the cross, which is a spiritual connection for the Christian.
