VIDEO: Josh Donaldson Shows Off his Golf Game on Intentional Talk

The old golf adage is “drive for show, putt for dough”. Josh Donaldson can clearly drive a ball (whether it be baseball or golf ball), but know we know he also has a finesse part of his golf game as well.

Late last week, Donaldson flexed his golf muscle at the AT & Pro Am Tournament at Pebble Beach. All the while, rubbing elbows with celebrities like Justin Timberlake.

So with the Spring Training reporting date fast approaching, apparently Donaldson wanted to get in a few more rounds before heading south for Dunedin. The Bringer of Rain took some time from round to join Intentional Talk live from one of his home courses in Alabama.

Among many things, they talked golf, his budding friendship with Justin Timberlake, Donaldson’s upcoming role on “Vikings”, and gracing the cover of MLB The Show.

The entirety of the interview is above courtesy of MLB Network, but the real gold lies in Josh Donaldson making a putt on the course mid-interview and his subsequent reaction.

In a strange twist of fate, today marks the 20th anniversary of the release of “Happy Gilmore”, so it was a fitting tribute for Donaldson to do this right after he made the putt.
