Josh Donaldson Sports His Own Ugly Christmas Sweater

 

Is this peak meta or what? Josh Donaldson posted these photos to his Instagram account (which you should follow immediately, by the way) wearing his very own “Bringer of Reindeer” ugly Christmas sweater.

Admittedly, Donaldson is single-handedly keeping this blog afloat this offseason with his barrage of Blue Jays-related minutiae (like dressing as Thor for his birthday). But really … what else is there to talk about in Blue Jays Land right now?

If you’ll remember, Fresh Brewed Trees released their interpretation of an ugly Christmas sweater for Josh Donaldson a few weeks ago; the “Bringer of Reindeer”. It’s apparent from his photos that not only did Josh Donaldson get his hands on the sweater, but he added a nice little touch with a Santa cap.

Typically, wearing an article of clothing with your own image on the front might be a fashion faux pas, but somehow Josh Donaldson makes it totally legit.

Now, if only Jose Bautista posted a photo of himself wearing the “Merry Flippin’ Christmas” sweater, and that alone would be gift enough for every Blue Jays fan out there.
