I kind of thought the A's could have the lowest ERA – Their park plays as a pitcher's park, they have some good pitchers and the Angels and Mariners don't have great offenses.
Steve, for being a group of relative unknowns, the Oakland A's pitching staff is performing very well. All 5 of their starters have an ERA of 3.71 or under. And like you said, if they scored a few more runs, then their total record might be much much better.
