A Game in GIFS: Blue Jays 5, Red Sox 1

Another game, another late-inning comeback by the Toronto Blue Jays. I’ll be honest … considering the amount of baserunners the Blue Jays stranded through the first nine innings, I thought they were destined to come up short.

But thanks to some tenth inning heroics kick-started by Josh Donaldson, the Blue Jays walked away with yet another win this season at Fenway Park.

Below are a bunch of GIFS and a Vine from the Blue Jays’ improbable win against the Red Sox.

After sliding into third base, Josh Donaldson appeared to be a little baffled as to what happened in the tenth inning. Did he hit a home run, did he hit a triple, was it somehow both?

Even with the game on the line, John Gibbons could not have been more relaxed.

Marcus Stroman was quite impressed with Donaldson’s athletic ability to stretch his hit into a triple. Could he possibly have the makings of a future third base coach? Look at that enthusiasm!

Chris Colabello showing the rare display of emotion. He also appears to have transformed into a real live bobblehead.
