VIDEO: Roberto Osuna Collects 11 Swinging Strikes in 2 Innings

The Toronto Blue Jays were in an immediate need of a closer, and they just may have found one tucked away on their very own roster – Roberto Osuna.

He put forth an incredible outing against the Tampa Ray Rays last night. In just two innings of work, Osuna managed to strike out five batters, all while collecting 11 … yes, 11 swinging strikes.

Some starting pitchers would be lucky to pick up 11 swinging strikes over the course of an entire game, but Roberto Osuna managed to rack up that many in just two innings of work.

It really was a historic single game performance by a Blue Jays reliever. And since Roberto Osuna was so utterly dominant in that game, rather than post 11 separate GIFs of all the swinging strikes he induced, here they all are in video form.
