Holy alliteration, Batman! As the picture above indicates, sometimes sliding down a slippery slope is an enjoyable experience.
Do those long and sad faces look like they belong to a team that has given up on the 2009 season?
Sorry, I know this afternoon’s matinee is already in progress (check out The Score liveblog by the way) but I just wanted to touch on a few things from last night’s game.
If you take a look at the top of the website, you might notice the new banner and somewhat new layout.
It was almost as rare as the sight of a unicorn galloping across a rainbow; Roy Halladay giving up back to back home runs.
A full twelve games might separate them in the standings, but tonight’s Yankees/Blue Jays showdown has the feeling of playoff baseball to it.
There’s something to be said about a game where John McDonald hits a home run.
