Marcus Stroman Raps About Pitching in the Playoffs

It may be a while before Marcus Stroman has an opportunity to take the mound, but that doesn’t mean he can’t rap about it.

Early last week, Stroman expressed his desire to come back and pitch for the Blue Jays in some capacity later this season (hinting that it may be in the playoffs). He took that sentiment one step further by releasing this video yesterday.

Not that he’s trying to get anybody’s hopes up about the postseason, but Marcus offers a taste of what he’s aspiring to do later this year (in musical form). Check out Marcus’ Instagram video after the jump.

If you follow Stroman on Twitter, Instagram or even SnapChat, you already know first hand that he’s been working extremely hard on his rehab process and makes it a point to update his fans on his status.

Despite being dealt a huge setback earlier this year, Marcus Stroman’s remained incredibly positive and is still targeting at September return to the Toronto Blue Jays. Here’s hoping!

Ian Hunter

Ian has been writing about the Toronto Blue Jays since 2007. He enjoyed the tail-end of the Roy Halladay era and vividly remembers the Alex Rodriguez "mine" incident. He'll also retell the story of Game 5 of the 2015 ALDS to his kids for the next 20 years.
