David Price Was Somehow Mistaken for Marcus Stroman

David Price and Marcus Stroman; these two players are very different. One stands at 6’6″, weighs about 210 pounds and is 30 years old. The other is nearly a foot shorter and weighs about 30 pounds less and is only 24 years old.

But despite these glaring differences, somehow David Price was mistaken for Marcus Stroman yesterday.

During his press conference, the Blue Jays’ ace was asked about his throwing regimen and one of the reporters thought they saw David Price throwing off the mound. Price corrected them and kindly pointed out the slight difference between the two players.

“That was Stroman that was throwing off the mound … He’s about two feet shorter than me.”

Full video of the exchange below. Even though it was an innocent mistake, Price seemed to take the mix-up pretty well. If anything, it looked like he thought it was hilarious that he was somehow confused for Marcus Stroman.
