Grandstand Captures Donaldson’s Home Run from the Stands

Could the Blue Jays have ended their regular season in any better fashion?

A walk-off win on the final regular season game of the schedule, capped off with a home run courtesy of American League MVP front-runner Josh Donaldson. That was as poetic as it gets.

Although Donaldson provided the on-field dramatics (and was rewarded handsomely for it with multiple Powerade, water and popcorn baths), sometimes the most dramatic angles come from the stands.

That’s where Grandstand comes in. It’s the app that’s all about sports highlights from fans in the stands. They’re fan-shot videos of all the best moments from the game, including this one, a second one and a third video from yesterday’s game.

Grandstand also caught Russell Martin’s three run home run against the Yankees from last Wednesday’s game as well. And with the postseason action at the Rogers Centre just around the corner, fan footage apps like this will come extremely in handy during the playoffs.
